    The form can be submitted online through the EPFO portal or offline at a regional EPFO office. Once the required documents are provided, the EPFO processes the application, and the pension amount is typically credited to the employee’s bank account within 5 to 30 days.

    Who is Eligible for Form 10c?

    • Employees who left the job before completing 10 years of service.
    • Employees who reached 58 years of age without completing 10 years of service.
    • Employees who completed 10 years of service but are under 50 years of age.
    • Employees aged 50 to 58 who opt out of a reduced pension.
    • Family members or legal heirs of a deceased member aged 58 without 10 years of service.

    What Documents Are Required for Form 10C?

    The following documents must be submitted along with Form 10C:

    • A copy of a blank or canceled cheque
    • Birth certificate of children (for scheme certificate applications)
    • Member’s death certificate (if the member has passed away)
    • Succession certificate (for legal heirs)
    • Rs. 1 stamp (if applying for withdrawal benefit through a bank)

    How to Fill Out Form 10C?

    To fill out Form 10C for pension withdrawal or scheme certificate request, follow these simple steps:

    1. Download Form 10C: The user must first download the form from the official EPFO website or the EPF member portal.
    2. Personal Details: The form requires the user to fill in personal details such as full name, father’s name, date of birth, and other information as per the EPF records.
    3. EPF Details: The user needs to enter their EPF account details, including the Universal Account Number (UAN), EPF membership number, and employer’s name.
    4. Reason for Claim: The user must specify the reason for submitting the form, such as “Pension Withdrawal” or “Scheme Certificate Request.”
    5. Bank Account Details: The form asks for the user’s bank account details (bank name, account number, and IFSC code) for transferring the pension amount.
    6. Details of Last Employment: The user must provide details of their last employer, including the period of employment and the reason for leaving the job.
    7. Aadhaar and OTP Verification: The user needs to enter their Aadhaar number and complete the OTP verification process if applicable.
    8. Sign and Submit: After completing the form, the user must sign it and submit it either online through the EPF portal or offline, as per their preference.

    What is the settlement time for PF form 10C?

    The settlement process for PF Form 10C generally takes around 20 days from the date of submission, provided all required documents are complete and accurate. Once the claim is approved, the pension amount is usually credited to the employee’s bank account within 1 to 3 working days.

    Scheme Certificate

    • For members who left service due to permanent disablement.
