Candidate satisfaction is the measurement of a candidate’s happiness and satisfaction concerning a company’s recruitment process. It can be defined as a candidate’s perception of a company’s hiring procedure. It can be measured by asking for feedback during or after the interview and learning about the candidate’s experience. When a company’s candidate satisfaction score is below average, it is considered that they care less about the candidate’s experience and do not keep the same on priority. In such cases, candidates post their experience on social media or Glassdoor which leaves a bad impact on the company’s brand. A company may lose on good talent due to neglecting the importance of candidate satisfaction.
