As an HR Manager, you will be expected to

  • Recruit: Interview, Examine and select employees to fill vacant and new positions.
  • Strategize and conduct employee orientation to align them with the company’s objectives.
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Analyze salary and wage reports and information to formulate a competitive compensation plan.
  • Draft and implement directives for department managers concerning employment opportunities, reimbursements, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Take legal assistance to make certain that policies comply with the local and national laws.
  • Develop and keep a human resources system that synchronizes with the top management information needs.
  • Maintain and oversee the recording and preserving of records required by the government as well as other departments in the organization.
  • Administer the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records pertaining to the employees of the organization.
  • Identify, understand and implement legal requirements and the regulations pertaining to human resource functions. Ensure compliance with the legal policies, procedures, and reporting. Observe and analyze legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to keep up with the industry trends.
  • Write and deliver presentations to corporate offices, government officials, educational institutions, etc regarding human resources policies and practices.
  • Govern and administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Coordinate safety committee meetings as a Safety Director.
  • Coordinate with the labor union as and when required.
  • Prepare the budget for human resources operations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and understand the reason behind the separation.
  • Provide reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and employee turnover.
  • Represent the organization at human resources-related hearings and investigations.
  • Manage contracts and communication with employee services providers such as temporary employees, relocation services, employees benefit scheme services, search firms, etc.
  • Coordinate with the human resources team and be responsible for the operational activities of human resources coordinators.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources from an institution of repute or its equivalent
  • Minimum {X} years of relevant experience in the field of human resources.
  • Sufficient knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently of the management.
  • Additional understanding and knowledge of human behavior will be appreciated.
