Workplace Bullying

    Workplace bullying is an HR term that refers to bad behaviour such as aggressiveness, hatred, harassment, and damage that is shown by a person or a group at work and aimed towards another person or group in the context of an existing or emerging interdependent relationship.

    There are two types of bullying behaviour:

    • Personal bullying includes offensive comments, taunting, spreading rumours or accusations, constant criticism, intimidation, and blackmail.
    • Task-related bullying includes assigning meaningless or no assignments, as well as setting unrealistic and impossible deadlines.
