Workforce
The workforce, also known as the labour force, is the pool of workers who are working or unemployed. It usually refers to employees of a particular organization or sector, but it may also refer to a geographic area such as a city, state, or nation.
The importance of a business can be described as its “Workforce in Place.” Both working and unemployed people make up a country’s population. The labor force participation rate is the proportion of people who work to the total number of people in their cohort. The word usually refers to people who work in manual labor and does not include employers or managers. It may even refer to someone who is looking for jobs.
