Skills Gap
As the name suggests, the skill gap is the difference between specific skills required for a job role and actual skills an employee possesses. Due to skills gaps, often employees are not able to perform their job productively and do not deliver expected results. It may happen if an employee is incapable of understanding his/her skill set and is earning for survival or if there are training or communication gaps in a company. To achieve higher efficiency at work, an employer needs to understand employees’ talent and interest areas.
