The review process is the procedure where reporting manager or team leader evaluates employees’ accomplishments and progress towards the objective and goals. It happens by comparing achievements with preset expectations and providing feedback to the employees about the same. Review of performances happens during the annual appraisal in an organization. The process plays a significant role as it calculates the contribution of each employee towards the overall company goals. To appraise performance efficiently, a manager must be aware of the specific expectation for a job, monitor the employee’s behavior and results, compare the observed behavior and results to expectations and measure the match between them.
