Oral Reprimand
An oral reprimand is a verbal warning given by a boss or manager to an employee as a way of correcting any instance of improper activity or behaviour in the workplace. Oral reprimands are seen for a variety of purposes. It gives the boss a way to express his or her complaints in a way that garners appreciation from both the individual receiving the notice and other employees. This also allows the boss or the individual to try to resolve the issue without having to carry out the official forms, ensuring that the event is not recorded on the employee’s record.
