As per the National and State Law, Private and Government Organizations must provide mandatory paid leaves to the employees as per The Factories Act 1948. Apart from the mandatory leave types, there are several other types of leaves provided by companies;
- Casual Leave (CL)
- Sick leave
- Earned Leave (EL) or Privileged Leave (PL)
- Maternity Leave
- Paternity Leave
- Bereavement Leave
- Loss of Pay (LOP)
- Compensatory Leave
- Quarantine Leave
- Half Day
- Study leave
