Goal Cascading

Goal Cascading means escalating goals from one stage to another. The objective of the cascading system is to align the goals with the organization’s strategy and employee’s activities and individual goals. It provides a run-through of each individual’s goals and how it contributes to the overall business strategy that increases transparency, makes expectations clear, and engages the workforce.

Aligning the strategies is very important for a business to keep everyone moving in the right direction. It is done systematically through goal cascading. The concept of cascading has been in business for decades as a performance evaluation tool.
