As per Annexure-I, the following days are declared as General Holidays for all State Government offices in Telangana. These apply even when the festival falls on a Sunday.

What are the bank holidays in Telangana in 2026?

As per the RBI guidelines banks follow all General Holidays listed above, all Sundays, and second and fourth Saturdays every month are holidays.

Payroll and statutory payments should be scheduled 3–5 working days before festival clusters, especially in March, August, October, and November.

What are the optional holidays in Telangana in 2026?

As per Annexure-II, State Government employees may avail up to FIVE optional holidays during 2026, subject to prior approval.
