What is Notice Period

A notice period is the time frame between an employee’s resignation notice to their employer and their final working day. This period is critical for a smooth transition for both the departing employee and the employer. It ensures that responsibilities are adequately handed over and replacements can be found.

The purpose of this policy is to establish clear guidelines for notice periods when an employee resigns or is terminated from their employment at [Company Name]. Duration of a notice period

Standard notice period: X weeks’ notice is standard for most full-time employees.  

Managerial or senior positions: Executives and Senior Managers will be serving XX months of notice period.

  • Blacklisting the employee: The company may also blacklist the employee.
