Generation Y { Millennials }
Generation Y or Millennials is the demographic cohort born between 1981 and 1994. They are currently between 25 and 40 years old (72.1 million in the U.S.). The term “Millennial” has become the popular way to refer Gen Y category. There are two divisions of Generation Y; Gen.1 and Gen.Y 2. Gen Y.1 is between 25-29 years old that is around 31 million people in the U.S and Gen Y.2 is between 29-39 years old and is around 42 million people in the U.S. These terms are useful for marketers and tend to trickle down into common usage.
