    Form 26AS is a form that indicates that the tax has been deducted has also deposited with the Government. Form 26AS contains detailed information about the tax deducted on behalf of the taxpayer by deductors.

    Parts of Form 26AS

    Form 26AS has 7 parts. Following are the different parts of Form 26AS:

    • Part A – It contains information regarding TDS.
    • Part B – It contains information regarding TCS.
    • Part C – It contains information regarding tax paid (other than TDS and TCS).
    • Part D – It contains information regarding the paid funds.
    • Part E – It contains information regarding AIR (Annual Transaction Return) Transaction.
    • Part F – It contains information regarding tax deduced on the sale of immovable property.
    • Part G – It contains information on TDS defaults and the process of statements.
