Employee Offboarding
Employee Offboarding is the process that defines employee exit. It describes the separation process of an employee from an organization through resignation, termination, or retirement. The process involves all the formalities an organization manages when an employee leaves such as;
Exit interview
- Transfer of job responsibility or hiring a new employee
- Deactivating the accounts or access rights
- Collecting the assets given by the employer
- FnF-(Full and Final settlement)
For a good brand image of an organization in the market, it is important to maintain a smooth offboarding process. When an employee leaves, he/she carries experiences that become a word-of-mouth promotion of the company. An effective offboarding process helps to reduce misunderstandings and maintain good employee relationships.
