Candidate call back rate is a metric used to measure the success and recruitment efforts of a particular hiring business. The measurement is based on the number of callbacks received from candidates or potential leads. The candidate calls back rate must always be on a higher side for a successful recruitment business. It takes the number of total candidates who replied from your initial recruitment phone call and divides it by the number of total recruitment outreach calls you’ve conducted. The result received is the candidate call back rate.

Call back rate in % = Number of candidate return phone calls / Total number of candidate phone calls where you asked candidates to call you back
