1. Ability to pay the unclaimed / residual amounts of Reimbursements monthly, quarterly or yearly
Previously all the unclaimed amounts of the reimbursements where added to special allowance and considered as Taxable at the end of the Financial Year (i.e. in March). Now, this can be set as Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly.
Please contact Keka Support to get this enabled.
2. Ability to add 12 attachments in declarations
Initially it was restricted from uploading more than 5 attachments in the proof submissions in declarations. However, now we the maximum limit of proof submission has been increased to 12 attachments restricting only 5 per instance.
After uploading 5 files in an instance, we have to save the declaration and open again to attach the next set of proofs and the overall limit is restricted to 12 attachments.
3. Updated HDFC and ICICI Bank Transfer Statement
Added debit record in the HDFC Intra bank transfer statement text file and have updated the transaction type to “C” (credit) from “I”.
HDFC – HDFC transactions have been included in inter (HDFC-other) bank transfer statement excel format.
Corporate ID of ICICI bank has been added in ICICI intra bank corporate text file.
4. Ability to declare income from other sources
Previously, we were not considering the income from other sources for income tax calculation. Now, we have given the ability to declare income from other sources in Employee Finance >> Manage Tax.
Ability to add income from 3 sources as follows:
- Net Interest Received
- Commission Income
- Other Professional Income
Similar to declarations, income from other sources will also be sent for approval. Admin can approve income from other sources from:
- Employee profile
- Payroll Admin >> IT Declaration Approvals
This will be shown under “Income From Other Sources” head and it will be included in “Total Gross From All Heads” in Income Tax computation.
5. Updated House Property Declaration Approval
Previously if the “House Property” declaration is zero or less than zero, the admin could not approve the declaration. Now, the admin can approve even if the net value is zero or less than zero.
6. Updated the FVU version from 5.9 to 6.0
The file validation utility version has been updated from 5.9 to 6.0 for filing form 24Q.
WORK FORCE MANAGEMENT
Ability to view leave balances of past calendar year
You can now see the past leave balances in UI by choosing the past leave calendar from the drop down. This is also applicable for the leave transactions shown in Leave type explanation.
1. Added ability to select the reviewers to rate on each review parameter (Questions, goals, competencies and core values)
Admin can now select the reviewers who can rate the employee based on different parameters.
Review form settings:
Reviewers selected in review process settings will be shown in the form settings.
As we are defining the questions in the review form, you can select reviewers for each question.
Say, an employee, Reporting manager and L2 manager are reviewers. For first question, you can select only the employee. For second question, you can select Reporting manager or L2 manager or For everyone (in a way that you want to configure)
Goals, Competencies and core values:
As goals, competencies and core values differ from employee to employee we can configure the settings based on these parameters.
Global admin/Performance admin can select who can rate on goals, competencies and core values.
Earlier, weightage allocation was based on review parameters (eg: For questions (50%), for goals (30%), competencies(20%)). Now, weightage allocation will be based on reviewer.
Say, if self is selected, then the sum of the weightages for all review parameters should sum up to 100%.
If all the questions are subjective (comment only/select from list), then the weightage for questions for that reviewer will be “0” and it will be disabled.
2. Upgraded UI for ‘Performance’ in My Team
The UI has been upgraded for the Performance tab in My team.
“Give Feedback” has been added for Reporting manager to give feedback (Appreciation, Personal feedback, Private note) to the reportees.
3. Added capture enter or new line feature in the comment area of a review form
Earlier, if the comments are given in a new line in review form, it used to show them in a single line (like a paragraph) once the review is submitted.
Now, we are capturing the enter or new line comment in review form. After submitting the review, it will show in the new line.
4. Upgraded the body conent for nomination mails and feedback flow
Case 1: When only self is able to nominate reviewers, intimating mail is as follows
Case 2: When only RM(also approver) is able to nominate reviewers
Case 3: When only RM is able to nominate reviewers, intimating mail is as follows
Case 4: Intimating mail for approver
Case 5: Status mail for approver when one of the self/RM submits the nomination list
Case 6: When nominations are finalized by the approver
5. Added ability to submit comment and not applicable option for single select questions in review form
Earlier if you didn’t want to select any option for select from list questions, there was no option to do so and couldn’t comment.
Now, we have added “Make comment mandatory” option for select from list questions.
Henceforth, comment box will be shown for all select from list questions in review form. If comment is mandatory, then reviewer can’t submit the review form withou commenting.
If “Show not applicable” option is selected for questions, then not applicable will be shown for select from list questions as well.
If “Not applicable” option is selected, then no need to select any option, it will be in view mode.
