Read Time: 1 Mins

An intern is a person who is a new graduate or a trainee and works in a company without pay to learn under an expert’s supervision. An intern gets a temporary position in the company and is not considered reliable for a heavy workload. The main objective of an intern is to learn. Many a time an intern gets a job in the same company he is doing an internship with. Mostly internship is unpaid but several organizations pay interns to motivate and work efficiently.

There are many professional streams where interns get to learn for example architecture, interior designing, medicine, pharma industry, creative designing, graphic designing, animation, media, journalism, reporting, etc. An intern gets temporary permission to be inside a company, work on the tasks assigned, and learn how the company works and generates profit. It’s the first phase where he/she gets to know the real world after education.
